Due to our excellent location in relation to the Flemish Ardennes, the Scheldt and Leie regions, you will find several cycling and hiking routes not far from the hotel, as well as various forests for a forest and/or nature walk. Be sure not to forget to visit the Filliers Grain Distillery! The hotel itself is located near the Hospice forests where you can take a beautiful walk.

The hotel is located near the Hospicebossen, also known as the Nazarethse forests. This piece of nature is 52.7 hectares. In this forest you can walk, cycle and jog, but also go horse riding and mountain biking on the designated paths. Children can have a great time in the play area.
At the hotel reception you can get an information booklet with a map of the forest.
Ooidonk walking route

This hiking trail of 7.5 km starts at the church of Bachte-Maria-Leerne and takes you along the Spanish-Flemish Renaissance castle of Ooidonk, the banks of the Old Lys, and Vosselare Put. During the walk, you can have a drink at 't Oud Sashuis, a ship café with a museum or at Het Koetshuis with a view of the castle.
Cycling along the Leie spots

This bike route takes you along the most beautiful places of the Leie region. Using nodes, you will end up in Deinze, Sint-Martens-Latem, De Pinte, Eke, and Nazareth. A small part of the Scheldt should also not be missing in this bike route.
